So, what are we doing to tackle this growing problem, and how can we, as individuals, make a difference? Let’s dive in and explore the vital role of e-waste management in protecting our planet. 

The Growing E-Waste Problem

E-waste encompasses discarded electrical or electronic devices, including everything from smartphones and computers to refrigerators and TVs. As consumer demand for the latest technology grows, so does the volume of e-waste. Unfortunately, improper disposal of e-waste can lead to severe environmental and health consequences due to the hazardous substances these devices contain, such as lead, mercury, and cadmium.
