In a collaborative initiative with Mimaki Private Limited, we were thrilled to host a plant visit for 108 enthusiastic students from SD Heritage Pride School, Classes 4 and 6.
The visit was designed to introduce young students to the world of e-waste recycling. Through guided tours and interactive sessions, the students learned how machines are used in the dismantling and processing of electronic waste, and how valuable metals like copper, gold, and rare earth elements are recovered from discarded electronics.
Such experiential learning is crucial in building awareness about environmental sustainability and the importance of responsible e-waste disposal. We believe it’s never too early to educate children about the impact of technology and how they can be a part of the solution.
