On 5th June, in observance of World Environment Day, Ecoverva organized an E-Waste Collection Drive at Pioneer Presidia, Sector 62. The initiative focused on encouraging responsible disposal of electronic waste and fostering sustainable practices within communities.
Why it matters:
🔌 Over 50 million tonnes of e-waste are generated globally each year
💡 Only 17% of it is properly recycled
⚠️ Improper disposal leads to toxic pollution and environmental degradation
We were encouraged by the active participation of the residents who contributed their unused and end-of-life electronics, supporting our mission of safe and ethical recycling.
